Left Hand Robotics was founded in 2016 in Longmont, Colorado with a mission to help property managers, municipalities and contractors alike become more efficient.  By designing commercial-class smart robots that work autonomously, Left Hand Robotics allows businesses to do more with existing resources. We enable our customers to complete jobs faster, so they can take on more projects. In turn, our customers see an increase in revenue and a reduction in cost.

Terry Olkin

Co-Founder & CEO

An MIT graduate with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Terry has a wide range of experience. He worked at both large Fortune 100 technology companies, as well as co-founded three startups. He has over 30 years of experience in: software engineering, building and delivering MVP, as well as working closely with customers.

Terry has taught Enterprise Data Security at the University of Colorado – Boulder, and currently mentors youth robotics teams. He is the president of the nonprofit GEAR Alliance.

Mike Ott

Co-Founder & CTO

Prior to Left Hand Robotics, Mike founded BlackOtt Consulting, a management consulting company that provided program management services. Mike’s clients included Fortune 200 companies such as Amgen and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri State University. He has held various industry certifications including PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma and various SAP functional certifications.
