Autonomous Robot Tractor
The Left Hand Robotics RT-1000 is the first self-driving robot for commercial outdoor jobs, focusing on mowing grass and clearing sidewalk snow. The newest 2020 model brings even more features and cutting-edge technology to landscape professionals and facilities managers.
Compact Yet Powerful
The RT-1000 is powered by a Vanguard 37HP EFI with Oil Guard and features an articulating frame and all-wheel drive for great traction, stability, and long runtime. The robot weighs about 1,250 pounds and is 93 inches long. The machine is compact enough to fit on a trailer used to transport a typical riding mower. It has a 12-gallon fuel tank so it can autonomously run longer with fewer fill-ups.
Works Year Round
The RT-1000 features a scalable platform so operators can switch out attachments as the seasons change. Need to mow grass? Attach the mower deck. Weather forecast predicts snow? Put on the snow broom. Unexpected ice storm? Dispense sand and salt from the deicer box.
Precise Navigation
Operate with great confidence. The RT-1000 uses triple-band GNSS RTK technology to autonomously drive with centimeter-level accuracy. Cut grass with great precision, pick from a variety of mowing patterns, and reduce overlap on mowing paths. In winter, assign the snowbot to clear sidewalks before snow accumulates or is packed down by pedestrians.
Built-In Safety Features
Safety is a top priority. The RT-1000 uses best-in-class technology and sensors to detect (and avoid!) obstacles and people. Each workbot is equipped with lidar, radar, and six on-board cameras to stay aware and safe. In addition, the robot is equipped with bright LED running lights, safety bars, and emergency shut-off buttons.
Designed for Commercial Maintenance & Landscaping
The RT-1000 is built for professionals focused on commercial job sites, not small residential backyards. The RT-1000 performs best at repetitive jobs in open areas. RT-1000 robots perform jobs at college campuses, city parks, sod farms, golf courses, sports fields, sidewalks, bike paths, road medians and shoulders.
Save Time & Money
It’s expensive and time-intensive to manage sport complexes, open spaces, and outdoor facilities. Assign the robot to repetitive jobs and let staff focus on more detailed tasks. Plus, manage robots and jobsites from our Robot Operations Center.
